Last week, Matt Brown of Extra Points posted a piece on what individual universities’ sports outside of football and basketball sold the most tickets.

The Answer: University of North Dakota Hockey with $4.9 million of sales— one of three schools in that sport.

Mississippi State Baseball is tenth with $2.4 million— and fifth in that sport behind Arkansas, aTm, LSU, and Ole Miss.

Oklahoma Softball and Nebraska Volleyball were seventh and eighth respectively.

(Wish I could show more but the rest requires a subscription I don’t have…)

Because we charged embarrassingly below market value for a 10 year deal. We will be at or near the top in 2029

I agree.

MSU will be at a similar position when AY 2025 numbers are released. There should be some movement upwards beginning this year and going onwards.

Interesting, thanks for sharing. Had a hard time believing the ND hockey number but they seat over 11,000 so about $425 (18 games) and assuming they sell out. Certainly in the range for season tickets to locally popular sports.
