Chesapeake house, chucks steakhouse and boardwalk Billy’s are the places to go. Avista is owned by my neighbor and is right near Main Street so you can walk around there for drinking. Go to buoys on the beach for some drinks.
tidewater golf is very good, barefoot if you can do dye course do it across the street from my restaurant.
Caledonia and true blue if you are die hard great golf course fans. The big cats are just over the border in nc.
meadowlands is a decent track. Links.
eagles nest, I would play there and oyster bay before turning to private.
