The title of this thread is grossly misleading.
What Norvell is doing is CYA, which may be enough to give him one more year to straighten this mess up.
I have no doubt his mindset right now is "How am I going to fix this ****pile, if we can beat UF, make some "big hires" in the off season, that may stave off the wolves for one more year"

How does making changes to his staff after one of the worst collapses in college football history mean Norvell thinks its not his fault?

What did you expect him to do, resign?

It’s a typical move to coach for one more year. Probably worked out with AD.

Nah. Norvell has a buyout of almost $64 million!!!! FSU is stuck with him. They are in the midst of a terrible year and the fanbase is mad. The only choice either Norvell or their AD has is to fire assistants.

After the year this team had last year with the same coordinators and coaches, why are they suddenly to blame and are now fired?
They were terrific last year and now they are dirt. 🤷‍♂️

I hate to agree with Finebaum, but his statement may be correct. I've never seen anything like this and I have been around for a longgg time LOL
