Great game back and forth and with @10 minutes to go in game GV has the ball and down 21-10.
Mix of pass and run, score TD, fail on 2-point.
Get a 3- and out and ball back on own 17. Six or seven straight runs where OL took over and score now 22-21 after failed 2-point try.
Ferris starts at own 38, gets to GV 47 and loses fumble.
Need one first down and should be game over. 12 yard gain. Fumbled ball and Ferris takes over on GV 40ish.
Four plays and GV takes over and wins.
Aside from my son being close to the players, why do I post this?
It was a fun game to watch. Fans were into the game - obviously when #1 v #2. Kids played hard and with emotion.
Never once saw the guy with the red hat come on the field and stop play. 2 hours and 53 minutes to play with a 25 minute halftime.
Saw 4 plays of PS game and didn’t really miss not watching the game.
Maybe I’ll travel 2.5 hours to GV and watch kids who know they have a snowball’s chance in hell of playing at the next level. Fun day of football.
