Big game today--soccer equilvalent of the Super Bowl. It is also the first time that two English teams have met in the final. Manchester United is the world's most popular team and Chelsea is considered the Yankee's of soccer--huge budget. They are big rivals to boot.

The teams are littered with amazing players that represent their national teams. Should be a good one.</p>

I agree, I'm catching a casual interest in it more often..and the buildup from all the promos i have been seeing..it has peaked my interest.
still wont have a clue who anyone is, or what the rules are.

Ok...couple of quick names.

Manchester United:
Chritiano Ronaldo--Portugese dude that is quick as hell and may be the best player in the world
Wayne Rooney--English hero, very young and tough--plays like a full-back

Chelsea:
Didier Drogba--Ivory Coast forward, great finisher--scores pretty often</p>

I was in London last summer when these teams met for the Community Shield and watched it in a pub full of fans. Fun time. What a great match that was, despite being just an exhibition. I'd love to be back today.

nice play in the corner and a good pass, but wasn't that terrible defense on chelsea's part? i mean, if you have a great player like ronaldo, you have to body him up and keep him from getting the open header. it was a great header, though.

Both teams are full of big-time players--just trying to keep it simple.

agreed the shootouts suck. i wanted to see them keep playing especially after the scuffle right at the end of the game. one of the better matches i have had the opportunity to watch in a long time.
