What's everyone's take on why we haven't offered the Louisville QB a scholarship. I don't even see him in our list of prospects:

http://mississippistate.scout.com/a.z?s=136&p=9&c=4&pid=10&yr=2009

Look like a lot of others have offered:

I talked to a former Louisville player (who played college ball, although not at the D-1 level) & he said Croom thought he was too cocky. Any opinions?

I heard he started talking **** to the other team's coach during a baseball game. I know people from louisville who say he is an arrogant prick and the parents reinforce it. Must be an O type player.///

You have to be at least a little but cocky to play QB successfully, but maybe he goes over the top. I've never met him.

I would love to be Matt Leinart. Except for the fact that he plays for the football Cardinals, that has to suck.

the off the field perks appear to more than compensate for the team he plays for...in my opinion of course

</p>And he can probably go to a good team in a few years as long as he stays healthy. Him having a rift with Wisenhunt may be good for his career in the long run because they may want to get rid of him sooner.

came from a Lt. Col. (in one hell of a prominent position), who I intend to invite to check out the SixPack. He ain't a State Alum (went to Valley to play FB), but he's a hell of a State Fan (gives the Bammers hell over here in Hsv). Not exactly sure what position he played at Valley (thinking RB). Any Louisville alums out there from the 1982 or so time period?

yeah i figure not being in so good with administration when you are young isn't that bad of a deal when you play for a lower tier team in the NFL. it can definitely increase the odds of being traded. as you said, he has plenty of time left as long as he stays injury free. if it all goes south for him he appears to have a great career ahead with Joe Francis from Girls Gone Wild

that there looks like the AOTD. Maybe HD6 won't ban me (hey, HD6, I got a good Bulldog Lt Col friend if that will help, plus my bro is a Bulldog full Col., retired).

Playing for the Cardinals is probably a good thing. Remember that Tempe, the home of Arizona State, is pretty much a suburb of Phoenix. And ASU's girls are some of the hottest in the country, and even better, they're hot in the West Coast slutty way, rather than the conservative, Southern, saving herself for marriage hot. It's not a bad place to be if you're Matt Leinart.

I think they consistently get recognized for being the best party school and having the hottest co-eds... and like you said, they're the California, slutty type too.. fun for the whole family
