friend, the bases loaded & 0 outs, going. A fielder's choce & 2 K's later, AU is out of danger. Then, we bring in Wilson to pour gas on the fire....he gives up 3-4 runs & doesn't retire a batter, and to top it off, he gets pulled and we have nobody warming up to take his place.

last year, I told ya'll that Ron Polk in 05-07 won fewer conf games than Pat harrison did in his last 3 years at ole miss. I didn't even bother calculating the number with Harrion's first year b/c he only won 6 games.
But as it stands, Polk has to win 2 of the final 6 SEC games to win more conf games over the last 4 years than Harrison did over his 4 year career at ole miss. I think we are past the point of "just to show you how far we've fallen" b/c everyone finally gets it. But this stat is too amazing not to published.

That is maybe the most ridiculous thing we could possibly do. That shows the how this coaching staff has lost it. You pull a pitcher and don't have anyone in the pen warming up. The only scenario I could see was if Busby was playing in the infield. That happens all the time. He wouldn't necessarily have to warm up and the umpire will give him 8 pitches to get warm, come hell or high water.
