Maybe they are seeing a defensive struggle?

I see a good game right up until Clemson starts turning it over.

I don't think this line is indicative of what Vegas thinks of Clemson as much as it is not trusting ND. They had a bad 3 week stretch with an ugly win @ Duke (when Duke's QB got hurt), 2 TD loss to LOU, and an ugly walk off L against TOSU. Looks to me like Vegas is expecting another ugly one. I would agree with that. I know Shipley is in concussion protocol, if he can't go, that line will go up.

I always pick clem's son to win. For one, the football gods hate me, and two, if I'm wrong, I'm so happy they lost, I don't even care that my pick was wrong! šŸ¤Ŗ

Sorry but Shipley is not their best back.

He's carried the ball 39 times more than Mafah, and is their leading rusher. He's also got 20 receptions and 2 receiving TDs. It's an offense built around using 2 backs. I don't think there's much difference in Shipley and Mafah, but that offense is going to miss him if he's out.

clemmy might not win another game. šŸ™
I mean, maybe not? I can't see them beating ND. I know UNC has dropped a couple of games, but if they score more than 24 they win in DV. GT is sneaky. They pounded Wake @ Wake (who clem barely beat at home), won @ Miami (Clem lost), beat UNC, had a close loss to really good LOU team. I'm watching this team on the road, and I just can't imagine them beating us at home. I can't do it.

Mafah has all the better stats except the number of time he has carried the ball. He averages 2 more yards per run. Has a longest run double that of Shipleyā€™s and 3 more touchdowns. I will admit I donā€™t watch all there bs. But in the couple of games I watched he looks like the better back to me. I will admit I have not watched his blocking. Dabo hasnā€™t always been known for starting his best player just saying.

They are tough to beat at home during any given year. Their best loss at home was against FSU, a game they should have at least lead by three late. I would not even bet on the spread...I would bet on them winning straight up but my site app will not allow it until the new on-line betting law passes here in North Carolina on 01 Jan 2024. I think the whole "Tyler" call will be used as motivation for the team and Dabo's "Us against the World" mentality come across this Saturday. But I hope I am wrong.

ND should win this game, as they are playing better. CU has that snakebit look this season. Weā€™ve certainly had snakebite issues in 2023, but ours are primarily injury related. CU has turnover, and terrible decisions at the QB position.

They have a really good defense. Clemson offense canā€™t get out of its own way. Could be a blowout

I think clemsons defense keeps them in the game till they wear out, realizing the offense will never keep up.

Lurker, I've a question for you (I'm briefly veering off the topic). While I don't often read the other site, I 've noticed that Mrs. Satterfield does not respond to your direct comments. (maybe she has while I was not there). Just wondering what you did to piss her off. Did you grope her or something? LOL

I think ND covers with relative ease. I hate them both, but UPC's fortunes impact us more than ND's, so I have to hope ND comes out on top. People are still talking CFP for them, even with their two losses. That wouldn't be the case for any other team in America, which is why I hate them.

Oh, you missed a little, and I blame you too. :)

She pulled up the clemson game thread from last year (from this site) that I didn't post on till after the game. After the game, you asked about some offensive stat and I answered. She flipped, claiming it was proof I was a tater.

She then stopped quoting me, but would reply to me constantly. After making fun if her for it, she said she didn't want to quote me and repeat tater posts (or something), and that I was stalking her by using the quote function. But it wasn't stalking for her because she didn't quote me when she replied to me. (Don't ask, I still don't get that one)

She's now doing that thing where she replies to other posters, but directs her comments at me.

It's all rather entertaining if you're in that kind of mood. And it reiterates to me that comment I told you about that board being an outhouse now.

šŸ¤£ She is something else. What? I don't know. It doesn't matter what she is posting about. She's always irritating. Her boy runs the 110th ranked offense (out of 130 teams) in the nation. She might could gain some respect if she admitted to being wrong about him and apologized for being vitriol towards others with opposing views. But, I'll get a date with Paige Spiranac before that ever happens, which means NEVER.

The predictability is amusing.
