is anyone else feeling sheepish about the type of recruits that will start coming in. Between Cohen & the type of recruits he was able to get to come to the SEC baseball graveyard and now Burroughs and his reputation as a dynamo recruiter, I'm sprouting some serious wool over our potential over the next few seasons. I'm fully expecting to be amazed by the type of recruits we get from all across the country.

Just curious if anyone else is feeling the same.

This year, who knows. Maybe we can get some good recruits this season, but I'm not expecting much. Next year, though, we should be bringing in some seriously good recruits.</p>

regardless of what extra financial aid they might have there that we don't have here. Given that, if he can have a top 10 class at KY I believe he will do that soon at MSU.

You do realize we're recruiting players to play at arguably the best baseball facilities in the country (counting the indoor practice facility) and definitely the most fan support (when there's something to support). Recruiting great players to play at MSU isn't hard. But you can't just sit there and wait for them to come to you like we have the past 7 years. And you certainly can't turn them away when they do put forth the effort to just come to you, like we have with several very good players.

....and so forth. My comment had nothing to do with attracting recruits because of MSU's tradition, etc. And like I said in my original post, Cohen and his staff won't be sitting on their butts expecting the players to come to them.
