we get to depend on the experience of Randy Stewart and Riley Benock at guard to lead this team in 08-09. That will be supported by the scoring prowess inside of Swat and Elgin Bailey....

Long gone are the Ricky sheep threads claiming a FF is on the horizon with all the talent we were stockpiling just over a year ago

Who were these "Ricky sheep" that were claiming Final Fours were imminent? Can some of you jackasses post without extreme exaggeration?

there is no exaggeration. Before the Delks left, there were numerous threads about how much talent Ricky was stockpiling. Threads with mythical lineups on what we had returning and and who we had signed. And about how he was finally going to get us to the promised land and a FF. Alot of these occurred durng that magical NIT FF run.

And now look where we are.

I know you always say that other schools have freshman that play exceptionally so why could we not count on Bost and Osby?

Gordon?

Everybody keeps saying Bost is the real deal and he damn well better be. But you know just like I do he is going to suffer alot of growing pains and struggle alot as a freshmen. And we saw what bad guard play will get you just a couple of years ago.

Because the possibility of those players playings well & contributing doesn't fit his mold of bashing all things Stansbury.

Did he bang your ex-wife or something?? Over the last ten years, you cannot tell me that no other coach in those ten years has had quite the sustained success of Stansbury. Has he had some bad luck in the NCAA's?? Yes. Do you think we are going to go out and get Roy Williams to come here?? I honestly just don't understand the Stansbury bashers. They need to check their own coaching egos at the door.

much about Coach34. Prior to launching a career in condom distributions, he was a highly succesful assistant coach. His coaching prowess notwithstanding, he made his greatest contribution to mankind by guiding young men, reaching out to those that society had neglected. In his own words, nothing warms his heart more than being "hollered at in the mall," a sure sign the he made a difference in someone's life.

Thus, when a lesser coach, such as Stansbury, fails in his eyes, he lashes out. But who among us can really blame him?

...it's equally foolish for anybody to say "We'll be great in 09/10." Hell, '08/09 is a long way from being set in stone with our offseasons. We've still got the summer to get through.

all I posted about was our severe drop in talent and lack of experience. Nothing in that suggests hate. You people are unreal

It doesn't take an intelligent person long to figure out you don't like Stans. Oh by the way, you still haven't answered my question.

its the usual Ricky sheep like Meo and crew that really keep up with recruiting and such. No big deal really, just posting of mythical line ups and who would be coming off the bench on our march to the FF. Its funny how these things are never remembered by you guys when they dont pan out for Ricky, but let me pick Auburn to beat us and its rehashed on here for two years

I'm going to assume that, in reality, you know the reason(s) for this occurence. Just in case, here is a hint: it has absolutely nothing to do with Rick Stansbury, his accomplishments, or his failures.

That's convenient.

First of all, I can't remember anyone saying that we wouuld "march to the FF", so if that did happen it had to be one or two posters, which hardly constitutes saying all the "ricky sheep" were claiming a FF was on the horizon. Secondly, saying we could possibly make a FF run isn't the same as saying a FF is forthcoming, just to clarify because I know how you like to exaggerate things. Third, people don't remember those things because they either didn't happen or were either just one or two posters saying it and were thus pretty much ignored. People remember your statements because of the way you post. You bring it on yourself purposefully and you have admitted it. Finally, I would like to ask Costanza and his "crew" to clarify their comments. Were you guys really saying we were going "to march to the FF"? Frankly, I find that hard to believe and think this sounds more like typical Peaches crap.

I would also like to point out that I was one of the few posters bemoaning the loss of the Delks when it happened and openly admitting that Stansbury has a problem controlling attitudes. I like the guy, think he has done a great job here, and believe he is one of the best coaches in this conference, but I don't think the man is perfect and have never said anything to the contrary. He has his faults, but to deny or belittle the success he's had here is just plain wrong. There are a couple of posters on this board incapable of being evenhanded with regard to Stansbury, and you are one of them Peaches.

passed a few years ago. You call him Ricky because DS won't allow Stains. Thus, you can continue to be an *******, just a little more discreetly.

Disliking the fact that you call him Ricky at every turn in an attempt to belittle him, in addition to you already belittling his accomplishments and abilities makes us sheep? You are a truly pathetic individual. You crave attention so badly that you purposefully bait people into replying to you. You always talk about your coaching days after you washed out of that profession are now selling condoms. In place of being a coach you get your kicks in belittling coaches on the internet. You are consistently wrong in your predictions. You resort to extreme exaggeration to try to prove your point, which was proven earlier today by you saying all these people, who you cannot name aside from the easy out of naming Costanza, were claiming a FF was forthcoming.

He goes by "Rick." He is known as "Rick." Nobody ever referred to Tom Brokaw as "Tommy" Brokaw, or "Billy" Clinton, or "Jimmy" Brown, or "Johnny" Elway. People are known for what they go by. You calling him "Ricky" is just another backhanded dumbass way of furthering your cause, and you being naïve about it just furthers the point that you are a total douche. And while we're on the topic of names, this is why I'll never call you Coach34, only Douche34. You AREN'T a coach. You ARE a douche. Hence you are Douche34 from now until eternity.

you are equal to Rick's father?? I am quite certain in Rick's eyes that you are nowhere close to equal of his dad.

Therefore, it would be a huge form of disrespect for basically a nobody in terms of MSU athletics to call our most SUCCESSFUL coach in any sport the last ten years, Ricky, rather than his preferred name of Rick. Hell, you should call him SIR...

said anything about marching to the Final Four. As usual, Peaches is completely full of himself and full of ****, which are strikingly similar.

i'll start archiving posts the way Ronny does so that when I bust balls in the future, there wont be any problem naming mames. This convenient forgetfullness will be brought out. We'll see who the "idiot" is then.

Either ban him or don't, but if you'll recall some of us in this thread were championing the first ban before it was ever handed down and gladly adhered to the stipulations of that ban. Without that ban in place sometimes the guy says stuff that the more reasonable people on this board can't help themselves in replying to. If you don't like that ban him outright or place another reply ban on him. Allowing him to run free and post his usual garbage and then complaining to other posters for replying to him isn't the answer.
