and The Legend is gone, it's now time to get this program back to the powerhouse we all know it can be.

This should be the last time that a Mississippi State baseball season ends before Memorial Day weekend!

had to leave on such a sour note.

At least, earlier in his career, he showed us that we could strive for the top of the heap.

This, too, shall pass. Just like everything, and everybody.

We will now be trying to get back to where he once led us.

Jackie, bless his heart, once led us to the brink of grandness also.

Sly's still working on that.

Rick's hanging in.

RCD

PS - in my personal life, I have quite enough other issues to deal with.
As do most people. My alma mater's sports programs are just a diversion.
That said....Go Dawgs.

Both Ron Polk and Jackie Sherrill showed us that we could compete with the rest of the SEC, with their budgets greatly outweighing ours. I held much animosity toward them both in their final years. Hell, I'm not sure this board would exist if it weren't for the Jackie Sherrill situation. But they are both good men with huge ego's who helped us raise our expectations of what MSU athletics could be.

does the AD get any blame for this

</p>I officially turned on LT when he brought Polk back. Keeping JWS around just compunded things. I think those two moves are what eventually did him in. (In reality, I know about Scott Ross, and etc)
