This series will be tough for me. I've just never payed that much attention to the numbers athletes wear.

24 will definitely be Jeff Malone though.

This is the first Number Game post. When you see the question of "Who is #XX?" who do you first think of. I will try to post at least once a week. I will not after this week put mine until later, but for this first one I have to pick

Ron Polk

Eric Moulds will always be THE #1 to me, but if we're talking baseball only, yeah, certainly it's Polk.

For State it’s probably Bumphis.

For all sports, for some reason pre-injury Derrick Rose pops in my head. I was more into the NBA around then and those early 2010’s Bulls teams were a lot of fun.

I honestly can't pick one. I have different memories I view as the best. I got to spend great Saturday double headers at Dudy Noble watching several great players.

Seeing Don Smith, Moulds, Dicenzo Miller, Norwood, Conners, Regge Kelly, Butler, Bumphis,...

I basketball I started in the 70's and I saw all the great teams and games from, with lots of other stars from the 70's through the 2000's until I moved.

Just to many to sport teams and players to pick from, sorry, I can't remember all the names.

No intention of it being the best or most famous. Just when that question is asked, first person that comes to mind.

Ozzie Smith is the first person I think of, him backflipping with that upside down #1 on his back was a poster on my bedroom wall as a kid for years.
