If I’m reading the draw right… if he wins 2nd round against a player ranked lower than him, then he gets a match with world #1 and top seed Medvedev.

That would be pretty cool and assuredly a match inside Arthur Ashe Stadium, right?

If I remember right he had to win two 7-6 tiebreakers after losing the first set in his final qualifying match just to get in the damn thing.

Have we ever had a player win a match in the main draw of a Grand Slam tourney? Probably, but I think it's been a long time.
