Marathon on Sunday...great event. I am making sure that Jean-Paul gets the "Wake-Up Call!"

My daughter ran it last year. Said the climb up the Verrazzano bridge was much worse then she expected. People were getting gassed and walking.

Congrats to her...in my youth I was stupid enough to run 2. 26.2 miles is a loooong freaking run!

Thought about training for a marathon, passed and have no regrets. My longest races were a few Bethesda 20Ks, an easy run from downtown Bethesda up to the Mormon Temple, the halfway point, and then down.

I even have to think seriously about driving 26.2 miles!

I limit my “running” to a local park district’s Thanksgiving morning two mile Turkey Trot!
