I'm so thankful we're not on FOX today. Gus Johnson was annoying me before the game even started!

I'd love to see the demo reel Johnson submitted to national broadcaster FOX where someone said, "Yes, this exactly what we want: someone who will IRRITATE a national audience during major sporting events."

It's debatable what the worst aspect of Johnson's style is, but what is the deal with his random volume changes and emphasis of words in the middle of sentences?

Fwiw I think Learfield has a sync app that will sync the radio guys w the TV broadcast. I haven’t used it but heard it advertised
