Instead of the old Ginger or Mary Ann, Winona or Ava?

Both are tremendous, but it’s Winona for me…

Well season next looks interesting. Boyd Crowder back. Detroit? Not so sure of
No word of the series continuing, hope it does cause the show runners and Olyphant indicated they would not be abject to bringing back older characters as well as City Primeval characters. Hmmm, Winona meets Carolyn!

Two things - first, not a huge fan of the plot devices used to set up the final, and severely disappointing, showdown with Clement. Having the near cripple Skender inadvertently (and obviously) free Clement when seeking revenge was just awful. Even dumber was Raylan shooting Clement without any drawn out, tense, meaningful final confrontation (I did like Carolyn saying they called the coronor - not the ambulance) . They tried to hamfist a Boyd-type relationship between Rayland and Clement to give his demise some meaning but it fell flat. They also failed to resolve or give any meaningful ending for Sandy, the one somewhat sympathetic character on the show.

Second, I loved bringing back Winona and Boyd. So great to see them and especially Winona getting to interact with Raylan. He seriously fumbled with her. Now, Boyd escaping prison with the help of a very 'racked up' police officer (noting Luiz Guzman was the only other guard transporting one of the most dangerous men in Kentucky) while clumsy, was very fun to watch, and I'd love to see them pick up the series with Raylan getting back on the Service for one final mission. If they don't, well, knowing Boyd is out there and up to his old tricks is fine with me.

This past year has been a real treat - Last of Us, House of Dragon, Succession, Justified, Atlanta, and The Bear (best of the best IMO) have all delivered and then some.

I was so looking forward to the show’s revival, but it fell flat for me. Sweetie and Carolyn were good characters, but I just never bought Raylan hooking up with Carolyn. The Detroit cops were not nearly as good as Art and the KY marshal crew, and Clement was not a compelling big bad for me.

The best part of the entire series was bringing back Winona and Boyd for the last 15 minutes of the show. More of that please.
