Officiating like that makes college basketball unwatchable.

Y’all please help me out here. In the NBA, when a team on offense is in bonus, it is an automatic intentional foul if the defensive team fouls an away from the ball player.

In college, I can’t find much about an intentional foul other than that it’s basically just up to the officials as when to call it. Is that correct? When you’re intent is to put the other team on the line, you can just run up and shove anybody you feel like?

My understanding for college has always been "yes", but they supposedly will put it under more scrutiny in those situations, so you run the risk of intentional. That said, I'm not sure how much it gets called - don't remember it being called much
