Jason David gave up two first downs and a touchdown on the first drive.

He could single handedly kill a potentially good season for the Saints.

to see how the D looked and to watch Deuce. Deuce looks good but I swear I think I have better cover skills that Jason David. HD6 calmed me down because he reminded me McKenzie is hurt and I forgot about that. I think I would rather have Toi Cook at his current age than Jason David on the field. Like HD told me, I haven't hated a Saint in so long but he is now part of the club.

Opposing teams will pick on him week in and week out.

Hasn't Jason David been in Nola long enough to hook up with a transvestite lounge singer who will convince him to leave the NFL for a life of tranny love. Somebody get on this, please.

The Saints have virtually ever piece in place except for the secondary.

I never thought I would watch a guy who made me wish that Fred Thomas was out there...Jason David is that guy.

.......the offense will be good, although I still have high doubts that Deuce will hold up very long, but the defense contunes to raise serious questions. Someone made a post about Jason David a week or so ago, and basically my response then was that a ****** player one year is usually a ****** player the next. I'm not seeing anything so far that proves otherwise.

It was funny. At the beginning of the drive where he got toasted, Brando and Wilcotts (mainly Brando) were going on and on about how Gary Gibbs had faith in Jason David, and that he was much better than he showed. Bam 2 seconds later, he gets burned for a first down, crowd boos like crazy. A couple of minutes later Brando goes into the same diatribe and bam, Toast gets burned again. Finally he just gave up as Toast gave up a wide open touchdown to end the drive.

All of this against a white WR, no less. Either Toast is the best practice player of all time, or the Saints defensive staff has lost their mind. They've now got Gay, Aaron Glenn, or Usama Young to play the other corner opposite McKenzie. Toast David should be one of the first cuts next weekend.

I watched him specifically on a few drives, and the Texans didn't throw (or didn't have to throw) anywhere else. Just send the WR out, give David one small move, and there was an automatic 10 yards of separation. It is crazy. Like someone said, you have to hope McKenzie coming back just puts him on the bench, never to return. The fans also boo him unmercifully and very loudly, so I don't think the coaching staff will keep putting him in there for very long unless something drastic changes.

Also, I didn't see this mentioned, but there were two Play of the Day candidates, the leaping TD by Bush, and that one-handed TD catch by Colson. Tremendous talent all over the offense.
