If you don't finish with a winning record, it doesn't matter how good your RPI is. Just ask USC (West). Not that our RPI will be anywhere near what theirs was when they missed the tournament a year or two ago, but it won't matter. 20th or 120th, we're still not going to be eligible for postseason play.
