The one and only Wade Hampton Hotel. Freshman year on 7th floor, Sophomore year, RA on the 5th floor, Junior year, RA on the 10th floor. Had 1 semester left because of transferring in to USC, final semester, RA for single male students housed at Cliff apartments. Since the plan was to use Cliffs for a few years, and this was the 1st time they had single students living at Cliffs, I had to write a job description for those that followed me.

Multiple box fans…! One or two pulling air in, another one two pushing air out…. In all seriousnes, after the second week or so in September it wasn’t completely terrible… I was on the third floor so maybe we got more airflow than 1st and 2nd floor…

Honeycombs fall of '59. Cannot remember if we had AC but think not. Joined a fraternity (Pi Kappa Phi) in fall of '60 and moved into frat house located below Cooper library. Know there was no AC. Also no student parking nearby and had to park on the street & deal with parking meters. Got a lot of parking tickets.

1971 Quad...don't remember the Frat, but those guys were awful cooks, they burned stuff all the time.
