My Dad's favorite Stones tune that he and his boys blasted in Vietnam was The Last Time. I learned the riff back in the day for him. I played him a UK first pressing of the single. I bought him Stones tickets but the world took that from me.

Midnight Rambler is the best track the Stones ever laid down but Can't You Hear Me Knocking is a close second. The tone Keith Richards lays down on midnight rambler is killer. You don't hear music played and recoded like that today and I really miss it.
Gimme shelter is, indeed, the greatest stones song, maybe the greatest rock and roll song of all time.
