I did notice that, but we still couldn't convert on 1st and goal from the 2.
Just curious, what was our genius offensive play that was called that we did not convert?

I'm not doubting you as much as wondering, wondering... What was the play that we could not block?

I was pretty sauced up by that point but I want to say three runs up the gut followed by an option with a bad pitch.

FWIW, we rushed for 240 yds against UF. aTm rushed for 310 against them. 240 is still good against any SEC team not coached by Hutzler.

It was hot. I mean it was hot. They should have pounded the ball down Florida throat all game. They would have gotten tired. That's what JWS would have done.

It was a big improvement. That would give me some hope for late season wins if the defense was even marginally serviceable. Here’s to hoping they continue to improve and make at least the offense respectable.

Yeah. Not perfect. That speed option play was there, but the pitch cost the score.
Watching live, I felt the correct call was actually a jet sweep on 3rd down. All the eye candy from earlier in the game was paying off, and we had them out of position.
