I think the matchup here is LSU has one of the best O lines in the country, Arkansas could not get pressure and Nuss just picked them apart. Ole Miss O line has struggled and is not that good. if Arkansas can get pressure I like the Hogs in this one, on top of that the powder blues are always soft and the Pigs will play smash mouth running the ball.

If they don’t get Tre Harris back I can’t see OM winning. Arkansas will be fired up and OM won’t be. They’ll be looking forward to Georgia. Classic trap.

Line is now -6.5 with 83% of the public taking Arkansas and the points, they will move the line to 4 or 5 I’d imagine. ole Miss hasn’t won there since 2008.

Arkansas 33 (or some other stupid number in the 30's that doesn't make any sense)

line wont sniff 4 or 5, unless there is an unknown injury that pops up.

Line opened at 7.5--- dropping it that much will give them too much of a middle. 6 will probably be as far as it would possibly drop.

Plus the public doesnt move numbers. Money does. And general rule of thumb, always be on the opposite side the public is on. However there is no way I'd lay points with Ole Miss.

While it seems 'trappy', I also don't put it past Dart to have a big game and get a win. I see this about like how I saw that 2015 MSU game up there, no real reason for us to go and win. Coming off a loss that ended the season for us, and Arkansas had just beaten ya'll with that crazy stuff and then beaten LSU at Baton Rouge. Seemed like they would trap us too. QB (Dak) made the difference.

If Ole Miss is what everybody thought they were, they'll go get a workmanlike win. It's just tough to know what they really are.

Comparing the defenses and seeing the LSU game up there... Ole Miss wins this one going away

Herein lies the problem. The offense is not particularly good and and they're pretty beat up on top of that. Defense is very good but if we lose this one I expect to see lots of defections...end of the story is a good one for you guys - Rebs finish the season with half our roster and lose out to go 6-6.

Yes, but that was in Oxford.
Ja’Quinden Jackson is out for Arkansas, that’s the only thing keeping the public money split right now, it was 83% on Arkansas and the points. CFN has it four points even without Jackson. If Ole Miss comes out flat they will get their Arse kicked.

i can promsie you that player being out isnt keeping the money split. Line has remained steady all week, despite the so called public numbers. The so-called public doesnt effect a line.

Also las vegas doesnt make the line to tell you whose going to win. They are trying to generate action, as they know they have the odds in their favor... they could think Arkansas is going to win, but if they make arkansas a 3 point favorite, they'd have floods of money coming in on Ole Miss.

I have been in Arkansas this week on business. The UPig confidence is low as far as beating Ole Miss for some reason.

Ja’Quinden Jackson being out hurts Arkansas, and changed betting sentiment, but they still have a good shot. Will have a packed stadium....I was reading CFN and their analysts see this as a 4 point win for Ole Miss but they are very shaky on that, seeing Arkanswith ways to win here.

If Arkansas doesn’t turn it over I can see Taylen Green having a big game. OLe Miss schedule has been pretty weak so far.

They didn't think they'd beat us either.

But I think a bigger, more sinister issue is......once teams (both players and fans) get that 3rd loss, many subconsciously quit caring as much. I think they realize any slim shot at the playoff is now gone. I know, it's Arkansas, they weren't expected to make it, but they are in that lala land area where they don't really care to make a bowl, have improvement and be average. Yessir is in his 5th year, they aren't interested in the Liberty Bowl.

Similar to what @Msdeltareb said above about Ole Miss quitting. I think we'll see this more and more, since bowls already don't matter. It's weird but that's essentially what the sport has become.....if you simply care at the end, you can get momentum and win a bowl, due to player defections. And heck, you might be better off crootin the portal in December, rather than practicing for a bowl. Because even if you have a young team poised for a big year the next year, and gaining momentum, you might lose a bunch of your guys if you're not careful.

It all points toward the need for a bigger playoff.

Pigs for some reason get up for Ole Miss. Titboss is saying they clinch a bowl game this week. That third loss will deflate Ole Miss if they get it here.

Looking at the SEC standings, A&M , Georgia, Texas, Tennessee, LSU, Alabama are the group that the playoff teams are going to come out of. Ole Miss and Missouri are probably already eliminated even if they don’t know it.

Ole Miss knows the UGA means nothing without this one. I dont see them letting down or being "trapped" this week.

I think the line is spot on. B/C i can see Ole Miss winning by 4-10 points and the 7 is right in the middle of that. Arkansas winning at home wouldnt be the biggest upset but I think an Ole miss 14+ point win is more likely than an Arkansas outright win.... Ole Miss has a veteran Qb and are simply better in the trenches.

The last time they won in Fayetteville was 2008 for the Houston Nutt Revenge Tour. 16 years ago. So, no.
I was being sarcastic because they always lose in Fayetteville, should have included a *

Ole Miss O line is not LSU O line. Just depends on which Arkansas shows up, the one that handled Tennessee could definitely win here.

Correct. I'll go a step further - if Dart doesnt play his best game of the SEC season (which would require the O line to protect him for the first time this SEC season) we will lose by 10 plus.
