Tigers up 26-14 at the first half under 8 minute timeout. I’ve wondered how OM is ranked higher than us the whole season when they have the same record and their schedule has been much worse. Now we get to see them against an equal opponent as us, and it’s not looking good so far.

Of course, as soon as I start watching, OM makes a run. Memphis up 38-36 at halftime.

I guess we want Ole Miss to win because we play them twice? Or Memphis because we already beat them in a true road game?

We want Memphis to win because once they get into conference play, their NET ranking will drop because of the crappy conference they play in. The only big wins they are going to get is in the non conference. They need to win to get one more big win before they get in to conference play. Ole Miss will play plenty of quad 1 and 2 games after this one in conference play.

This game is a freaking blowout. We finally should be ranked ahead of OM when the new poll comes out on Monday. They should fall all the way out of the top 25, although they probably won’t. They don’t really have any big wins (neutral site OT win over BYU is their best) and lost to the only ranked team they played (Purdue). And getting their doors blown off my Memphis.

I've barely watched this Ole Miss team this season, but they look soft and unathletic, especially in the post. If Cisse is giving you hell, you've got problems.

87-70 final score. This year’s OM team might be like last year’s. Inexplicably ranked all non conference racking up wins against a weak schedule. Fall apart midway through conference play and wind up missing the tournament. They don’t look that good to me. I know we struggled with Prairie View, but they only beat Grambling by two points.

I don't know who Ole Miss has been paying off to be ranked. They got plastered in the paint today. Destroyed.
