actually, we'd probably win the whole regional, like last year. Oh wait, we don't have the chance. That's baseball.

I honestly don't know much about them.

UNO was 2-1 against LSU this year, but that was before the streak began.

Could be an interesting regional down there.

LSU's been red hot the past month, but at some point all streaks have to end. And what usually happens after a long hot streak ends is you have a little bit of a cold streak. And that's not a good thing to have in a regional.

Maybe not a good one, but a chance. I mean, LSU has got to lose one sooner or later. This streak they are on is just stupid. Haven't seen anything like it that I can recall, at least not at the end of the year and into post season play. However, they have to know its coming at some point, and if it does this weekend, USM could be there to step in and take advantage of it

regional and he needs his number 1 to beat LSU. When questioned further, he said all results other than winning regional are the same. Real ballsy attitude. Refreshing.

USM has only one effective starter- Bowden, who is pitching today. The UNO pitcher shut down USM in Hattiesburg about 3 weeks ago. The depth of starters isn't enough to mount a regional run, plus the bats have been spotty all year. The only way would be to win three straight because the pitching isn't deep enough to play four or five games in three days.

Reported in the NOLA paper this week. Too bad Raffo has that job locked up.

Ole Miss has a very solid coach who is putting the Rebels in the mix year in & year out.

Meanwhile, MSU has been burdened by a washed-up nut.

One of these days Mississippi is going to get hot in the post season & take it to Omaha.

Meanwhile, MSU person is sweating it out over Raffo & "to be named later."

How patheitc is that?

Ole Miss will make it to Omaha. While we wait for that to happen let me remind you that the "washed out nut" did it last year.

Washed up nut only gave MSU the 1st losing season in around 35 years. He had his finger up his *** while the rest of the league concluded it was baseball season.

Boy will I be glad when MSU hires a coach that will get MSU baseball back to the honorable level MSU baseball deserves.
