If losing to three unranked teams with a baby soft schedule gets you in the playoffs in any scenario.. I like our chances eventually.
I will take a smoke and mirror schedule to the playoffs 100% of the time. 17 scheduling harder ooc. Give me 4 cupcakes, and hope for the best rest of the way.

2. Head coach dies
3. Promote unproven coach to HC
4. Hire an unproven AD
5. Fire unproven coach
6. Hire unproven coach for HC
7. Lose 57 guys off an 85-man roster
8. Having to play eight top 25 teams, four of which are playoff contenders.
9. Having to live through a 2-win season.
10. Having to watch the worse defense in school history.
11. Having to live the thought they have an AD who does not know how or the balls to fix it.

This probably ain’t the worst defense in our history. Check out the late 60s. I was at the 0-74 game at Houston.
