And they get to follow up @ SC with @ LSU with LSU coming off a bye.Ole Miss is hurting at running back and SC defense is real. That offense is going to get hit hard again this week. Ole Miss may not score more than 20 this week. Side note if Lane's head is not back on Streight this week the KY loss could hurt him twice. He and he team thought they were way better than they are. It is going to be hard to get their heads on right. I bet there is little energy in the locker room and athletic building right now.
Next two weeks could really be hard on the Ole Miss faithful and if so, it will be glorious. And they get to follow up @ SC with @ LSU with LSU coming off a bye.
I don't think LSU is very good this year. But I think they're better than Kentucky. And they get to follow up @ SC with @ LSU with LSU coming off a bye.
Sellers would have had 3 weeks to heal his ankle. He should be good to go.If Sellers and Sanders are back it could be trouble. If they are not that line may not be big enough.
And OM hasn’t won in Baton Rouge in forever.I don't think LSU is very good this year. But I think they're better than Kentucky.
If it's a close game, I like SC. Ole Miss is gonna Ole Miss if they feel the slightest pressure. Kiffin is going to go on 4th down at a bad time or something. They have to start fast.If it's close at the end of the first quarter SoCar has a chance. If OM makes a couple of quick early TD's they'll have a long afternoon.
Concur, but a small ML on USCe bet may be something to consider depending on the odds (my book hasn't yet posted anything but the spread).I can see an Ole Miss blowout, a one-possession Ole Miss win, or an outright win by South Carolina. You should not bet on this game.
Not financial advice.
Agree, but they’ll be at home with a lot of hate in their hearts.I don't think LSU is very good this year. But I think they're better than Kentucky.
LSU will be at home and two weeks rest. Ole Miss will be coming of two hard hitting games. It could end up being a route.I don't think LSU is very good this year. But I think they're better than Kentucky.
They won in BR year before lastAnd OM hasn’t won in Baton Rouge in forever.
I can see three losses in that schedule, and I'm being impartial, probably because we suck so bad.I lean OM probably wins just because I don’t totally trust SC or Beamer. Tough place to play though and OM could absolutely get beat if they aren’t sharp.
I am definitely questioning where this OM team mentally is though. Under Kiffin they’ve played a lot of close SEC games like that but they almost always win them… and Kentucky almost always loses those kind of games… I fully believed OM was winning up until they missed the kick, figured they’d either score a TD there or find a way to win in OT. Them losing that game makes me really be skeptical that they can survive this next stretch.
Next five games for OM:
@ SC, @ LSU, Oklahoma, @ Arkansas, Georgia
And they need at least 4-1 in that stretch to stay alive for the playoff… that’s not a gimme by any means. And heck they could be cooked by mid October if they’re not careful.
Check again. They haven’t won in BR since 2008.They won in BR year before last

Wrong, I am pulling for all the other SEC teams to win this year so that OM is at best tied with them. With their home loss to KY they will fall behind any team with the same record and "better losses".This is one of those seasons where State fans cheer for ALL other SEC teams to fail, but mostly Ole Miss!
Well I want them all to lose a bunch of games except against Ole Miss and including Ole Miss losing all of the rest of theirs including to State. That would make State 6-2 SEC!Wrong, I am pulling for all the other SEC teams to win this year so that OM is at best tied with them. Yes, very surprised. SC beat KY by 25 in Lexington and KY beat OM by 3 in Oxford so shouldn't SC be favored by 28??Anyone else surprised by that?
Yes, take the points.Anyone else surprised by that?
If that’s how you think bookmaking works I’d be happy to be your bookie.Yes, very surprised. SC beat KY by 25 in Lexington and KY beat OM by 3 in Oxford so shouldn't SC be favored by 28??
