The Grateful Dead kicked some butt at Winterland 45 years ago today. 6/9/77 may be my favorite show. It features a raving Help on the Way-> Slipknot to open the second set and the finest Terrapin Station they ever played. It's so heavy it's almost Dead Metal. It's just exactly perfect!
