I mean, I’d take a trade where we get a junior from the portal with 2 years of strength and conditioning and development over a guy who needs 2 years of it. Just hope we can pull some of those guys.

I don't get all upset about high school recruiting. Any one we miss on we will get a second shot when they ultimately go into the portal. Save that money and build the team with portal.

That's 3 defensive decommittments in about 7 days.
Too bad that we’re spending all that money on Hutzler instead of these guys. It is going to be incredibly hard to get average fans to buy in when our coaches/admin continue to make mind numbingly stupid decisions like this

Everyone chill out. He’s just decommiting from his signing position. Should be updated and back commited soon. They say we are actually signing him as a wide receiver.
Well that makes no dang sense. You commit as a football player. Position should be completely irrelevant. And he hasn't signed anyway.

We need more receivers. We don’t really need defensive players as much with this new showtime strategy Lebby is implementing. Defense is boring, who really care about that anymore.

I quit following recruiting back in the days of JWS. The last class that I followed was full of top players. I have followed people like Dante Walker, Ray Ray Bivens, Paul Broussard, The Arizona West Recruits, and Darren Williams.

Need I say more?

That must mean ALL of our Wr's are transferring out.
No not really. Only Whittemore is transferring out. He didn’t have the locker room support like the other receivers did. Besides, Lebby’s showtime scheme likes to eventually have half of our roster listed as wide receivers, or dual position players that can also play receiver, or can learn the position.

Wasn't Paul Broussard the original "It"?

I can’t tell if Bulldoghair is trolling in this thread.

This makes almost no sense. I can conceive of a scenario in which it makes sense, but not as stated. Unless it’s sarcasm.

Pretty obviously trolling with this one? I think? It’s so unfathomably stupid.
I’ve heard that several of our current linebackers are wanting or being asked to transition to wide receiver as well.
Are you continuing the bit? It makes perfect sense if you’re trolling.
But it’s also plausible they’d be moved in the offseason because they’re not getting it done.

This strikes me as a serious post, in defense of the coaching staff. Have all of the posts been serious, in defense of the coaching staff? Please tell me you don’t actually think defense doesn’t matter because it’s boring?

That's 3 defensive decommittments in about 7 days.
Howard: Bartlett TN. He unofficially visits twice in Sept. we get beat both games. He officially visits Tennessee this weekend and decommits from us. He is crystal balled to Vandy but I bet a UT offer is coming.

Henry: visits annd commits in June. He visits Alabama 10/12 and commits 10/14. He is from California. That isn't necessarily a Hutzler or Lebby issue.

Miller: from GA. Visited and committed in June. SC offers him 9/16. He decommits 10/14 and commits to SC same day. Again, kid just got a better offer. But maybe we can get him back on campus and we can win some games.

Nash: from MS. His last visit was in June. He visits FSU on 10/4. He decommits 10/7 and commits to FSU 10/7. Again, we need to get him back to campus and win some games. Someone needs to get down to Dekalb and give him a ride to a game. Hell I'd drive his whole family and give them a ticket, this weekend if I knew one of them.
