I’ve mentioned that I’ve not gotten any joy from Mississippi State football in years and that I’ve not seen them play in quite some time.
Yesterday, I went to the Mississippi Book Festival.
Having it in September instead of August was great with the temperature only being in the 80s.
I had fun.
State lost later that night but I wasn’t sad.
Pretty soon I’ve got to go to Martin’s for Tom Zuga’s Celebration of Life.
There’s gonna be some sadness but also joy in seeing friends.
All of this is to say: 17 sports. People are more important. Get over yourselves.
