That was my first thought as well. At least for football, I despise the Charlotte games.
This is part of the Hall of Fame Series. Looks like all neutral site games. Florida will be playing Virginia in Charlotte as well. Tennessee will play NC State in San Antonio.

I do not think this is accurate South Carolina did play Virginia Tech in Charlotte last season. This upcoming season in late November South Carolina will play in a tournament in Fort Myers along with Michigan, Virginia Tech and Xavier.
Oh, ha, you're right! It was an article from June 2023, but it showed up at the top of the Google News search as an article that was 16 hours old. Didn't even think to check the date...good catch.
