Only Glov could hate a beloved person like Marc Andre Fleury, hockey's second winningest goaltender in NHL history. The only goaltender to have a shutout as a teenager and at age 40. A standing ovation and video tribute in Montreal last night, a team he's never played for. After his shutout last night, members of the Montreal Canadiens stayed out on the ice to shake hands with the future hall of famer before he went down the tunnel.

I remember his rookie season at Wilkes Barre Scranton in 04-05 when he gave up 2.5 goals a game with a really good defense. I never thought he'd improve into the player that he did after that season.

It’s not the only reason, but the team hasn’t been the same since he got traded. Been stuck in that middling area where they either just missed the playoffs or if they get in they can’t advance. Looks like they made a good trade yesterday though.
