Is there any chance that Ono can play the 4 and make the occasional jumper from the wing to keep defenses honest?

In the time he has wrestled freestyle at PSU in the last several months, I have to believe that ONO has already rolled with those guys in folkstyle.
Ono isn't going in to this blind. If he didn't think he could adapt at a high level, I doubt he would have pursued this opportunity.

Something occurred to me about Ono after this weekend. We’re all excited about the idea of him wrestling for PSU, but think about the college experience he gets to brag about when he returns to Japan. How many Japanese citizens get the opportunity to go to a whiteout in Beaver Stadium with over 110,000 people in attendance? Or participate in all the fun activities that take place throughout the year. Or wrestle in front of a standing room only crowd in BJC? Or attend/compete in the 3 day event at the NCAA tournament? Those are just a few things that quickly pop into my head and I’m sure everyone here can name a lot more. He’s going to live through an experience that only a small number of foreign students get to see. That’s worth a lot right there without talking about medals, trophies and NIL deals.
so if Ono gets 2 yrs and will start they will break the NCAA scoring record this season, next season they only lose Haines so they will break the scoring record again after that who knows!
