+300 ML on a 12-0 P5 team playing on a neutral field against a team they already beat?

The first game was at Washington (36-33 WASH). How much does Vegas value home field? 3-4 points? Has the difference between these two teams swung 8.5-9.5 points since 10/14?

Oregon should have won the first game. Some of the most boneheaded decisions late in that game by their head coach. He admitted as much after the game

Quarter number one goes to the Washington Huskies. Wonder how much they changed the odds.

Seems like that spread was every bit as out of whack as people said it was all week.

Oregon’s got their work cut out for them just to cover +9.5, let alone -9.5.

Can we talk about that Oregon drive at end of half? If I was Washington fan, I’d be livid. Two blatant holds on Oregon big plays (on the same Washington player). Horrible PI call. Then, on first and goal, Nix should’ve been ejected with targeting for lowering his head and spearing the defender. Just ********!

That was a terrible pass penalty. Even the professional referee in the TV booth said it was a mistake.

How can you have pass interference on a ball that lands in the stadium seats?

They could call defensive holding maybe illegal use of the hands. But pass interference, by RULE, on a PASS that was UNCATCHABLE is completely wrong.

I guess they wanted to make sure that Vegas got the points they needed for the first half total.

ETA- am I really the only person that thinks “Booger” McFarland is an idiot?

Washington becomes the 8th program with multiple CFP appearances. They are a sneaky good program. I think they will be a force in the Big Ten.

Bad look for Nix. Sat like this through Washington's last possession.

Washington has had their chances to take it down the field.
The only thing better than beating Oregon Ducks at football...is beating them twice! :ROFLMAO:
I just don’t like Oregon… in any sport. Always have had a softer spot for Washington, even when I was more of an NFL guy in my earlier years.

Oregon reeled off twelve straight wins over Washington from 2004 to 2015 as their program made its ascent. It was rough to be a Husky fan around Ducks. I think familiarity breeds contempt. State has gone up against Oregon sports teams a few times in meaningful contests.

That seemed like the easiest money ever and that is exactly why I wouldn’t touch it.
I’d love to see the stats on how the bets fell.

Of all the bets on the game, what % were Washington ML and what % were Washington to cover?

It wasn't really easy money. The Ducks had played the Huskies close in Seattle, then they went out and demolished most opponents. UW had several close games, and didn't even score an offensive touchdown against Arizona State at home.

Here are the scores on their wins against common opponents:

------ Washington ------
59-32 vs California
15-7 vs Arizona State
42-33 @ Stanford
52-42 @ USC
35-28 vs Utah
22-20 @ Oregon State
24-21 vs Washington State

------ Oregon ------
63-19 vs California
49-13 @ Arizona State
42-6 @ Stanford
36-27 vs USC
35-6 @ Utah
31-7 vs Oregon State
38-24 vs Washington State

Even last night, UW blew a 20-3 lead and gave up quick touchdowns. Sometimes watching the Huskies was as excruciating as the State vs Arizona game.

That’s good and all but at the end of the day they covered by 12.5 points. The spread was .5 points less than the Egg Bowl. Thats absurd.
