it looks like the OSU RBs are all back and the WR is going to be game time decision. All these players were out last week v Purdue. Since the Drs make the decision and not the coaches, IF Penn State was playing OSU last week, would they have been held out by the DRs?

OSU had a receiver miss the entire season last year. So I’m not sure where you’re going with this.

No coach serious about keeping his job is rushing a player back in 2023. Especially at a school like Ohio State that’s still paying out settlement money for overlooking malfeasance from before.

I think he's saying that they were held out against Purdue to rest up for Penn State. So it's not just the doctors' say, there's also some gamesmanship.

Or strategery, if you prefer.

Not how I read it, but ok.

I’m not sure I really get the concept of “resting a guy” by not playing them in a game if they practice all week. If they were held out of practice too, eh. Maybe.

I don’t think that Ohio State is that worried about this game to be plainly honest. And why should they be? They’ve pretty much owned the Lions over the last decade or so. I can tell you that their fans were far more worried about Notre Dame than they were about Penn State.

Obviously fans would be more worried playing on the road in South Bend than playing at home in Columbus.

I wasn’t clear there. I apologize.

Ohio State fans will make it abundantly clear that they’re NEVER worried about Penn State.
