OT…eclipse a bust here in Knoxville

It’s out in full force here, but still a bust if you’re looking for more than 10 seconds of entertainment.
Very cloudy in Austin today but during totality the clouds parted for about 15 seconds, and I could see solar flares in the aura. Pretty cool.
I wouldn't say it was dark as night; maybe dark as 30m before dawn. Streetlights came on, nocturnal birds flew out of trees.

It's a really bizarre phenomenon. It was 85% here. Very cool still if you’re into science/nature at all. Impressive how bright it is with only 15%.
I would think that by now, Knoxville has become very accustomed to unfulfilled expectations.
