For those not making the trip to Birmingham, come to Meridian (downtown Meridian) for the 59Twenty Music Festival on 10/8. Cary Hudson (with Blue Mountain), Sonny Landreth, Lightnin' Malcolm, and North Mississippi All Stars (and others) 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM, with after parties TBA. It'll be worth the trip if you don't have other plans.
