This is very interesting. Always been a AK fan. I was sad to see him retire at such a young age. He has to pay $10M+ back to the insurance company if he
makes a successful comeback. No problem with LIV's payouts. He's still relatively young. Great story.

He's 38. Wouldn't call that relatively young. Statistically, golfers do very very little elite performing from their late 30s onward. That's why the multi-season runs of Vijay Singh, Kenny Perry, Sam Snead, and Phil Mickelson in their 40s are so revered - there haven't really been any others. Speed goes, nerves go, and backs go.

But I am thrilled to have AK back on the scene. I've always liked him too.

Do you think this is changing as health and fitness advances? Dudes back in the day were smoking a cigarette for breakfast and drinking a beer for dinner. Now it seems saying things like "40 is the new 30" is accurate because if you take care of yourself with modern day advances (which is seems like athletes do now), you can stay "young" for much longer.

Tom Brady is clearly a generational talent, but if Joe Montana had the same healthcare routine, he might be untouchable.

Maybe. Time will tell. This far, youth is still served.

Relatively young for taking off such a long period of time.. You may not agree but he has a lot of good golf left in the tank. At least 5-7 good years.

Like a lot of people who have missed a lot of work, he came back part-time.
