That was a remarkable turnaround Alabama made from Auburn to Georgia. Wow. The turnovers hurt Georgia but after the first interception I thought that there would be no way Georgia could recover. I now look as smart as Bill O’Brien.

I think Saban is the GOAT- but when your 2s are better than anybody else's 1s, you should win. He has set the bar so high now that whining fans are an issue for him.

Alabama seems so exceptionally well prepared for these big games, it just seems that it must be more than just "'Bama has better players and Nick Saban."

Could the dozen or so "analysts" that Saban hires, many ex-HCs, be a critical factor in his success? I admit that I don't fully understand the role of said analysts. However, since I've read here that they cannot actually "coach," perhaps they are able to help devise game plans that exploit opponents' weaknesses and have such plans ready for practice right away. Rather than rely on assistant coaches to do all the planning beginning Saturday night or Sunday morning, maybe the analysts have all the tendencies, etc. ready to go, absolving the assistants from those tasks.

I don't know. But heck, Alabama scored 41 points on a GA team that looked practically invincible prior to the game. Saban can't be that far above everyone else to go from a 4 OT game (and likely loss to Auburn) to such a dominating performance against the consensus #1 team. Can he?

I've had a similar thought- they seem to have layer on layer of expertise to call on, no doubt about it.

Are analyst allowed in press box during games?

Multiple factors come in to play for Bama. Iron bowl is usually competitive. Probably looking ahead to UGA game.

Also, look at the UGA schedule. Name one good passing offense they played. They dominated, but nobody has an OL like Bama year in year out either.

Saban went from 7-6 in his first season at Alabama to 12-2 his 2nd season to 14-0 his third season. He built it from the ground up.

I completely agree. I’ve never seen bama unprepared for a big game (see state v minn for opposite example) We cry all the time about losing position coaches. There’s no bigger coach turnover than bama (I’m guessing) but they keep it going. Saban is the constant

Saban’s elite preparation and strict team diet of no rat poison made all the difference.

Yes. The record setting #1 recruiting classes (almost a decade’s worth) and transfers like Jameson Williams (from OSU! LOL) mean nothing. Want to see what Saban looks like without the top classes? See MSU.

As far as I know yes. There is a limit on how many headphones that are allowed. Yes they count those things

Alabama was not as down as appeared
The general public overreacted to Georgia's invincibility (they are still really good though)
Alabama really needed to win this game
Georgia did not need to win this game.

If Michigan scores more than 20, it's probably safe to say that the All World defense was a touch overrated.

Now if they keep them low, win or lose, it means they were pretty good and Bama is just better.

Well, look at them losing Waddle and Smith. These guys would have been the best two receivers ever to play at a school. Then you consider they are there at the same time. They move on and what happens. They roll Williams and Metchie off the assembly line. It’s a factory. Just look at the QB’s recently. Hurts, Tua, Jones, and Young. Seriously, it’s insane.

I thought Alabama would win, but I was almost 100% sure after their first touchdown. There has never been a period of domination like this and never will be again, assuming of course that it will ever end. Just doesn't seem like it will.
