That's my favorite A Christmas Carol, though the 4x3 made for TV aspect ratio puts me off a little.I voted for It's a Wonderful Life, but I would add the 1984 George C. Scott take on A Christmas Carol.

Agree, George C. Scott version is best.I voted for It's a Wonderful Life, but I would add the 1984 George C. Scott take on A Christmas Carol.
Yea....a really good Christmas movie with an adorable script.....still like are "While You Were Sleeping" (with early Sandra Bullock)...

It is one of the first two movies I watch to start off the Christmas season in my home. The other is the same tale with Patrick Stewart.I watch that version of A Christmas Carol every year. I watched it last night.
I voted for It's a wonderful life. It's probably the best but it's not my favorite. I've never laughed harder than I did watching Home Alone for the first time (I still laugh at Marv screaming when the spiders on his face).
Not the "best," but 2 rom-com alternatives to the mawkish torture-fest that is "Love Actually" set during the Christmas season that I still like are "While You Were Sleeping" (with early Sandra Bullock) and "Just Friends" (Ryan Reynolds and Amy Smart).
Bruce Willis take on "Is Die Hard a Christmas Movie ?". His own words
Umm, Ok.He’s just an actor it in. He didn’t write it. And pretty sure he had no idea where he was when he said this. That’s my story.
