Did I spell it right? Dystopian, as an adjective?

I think Children of Men is superb. Also Blade Runner and The Road Warrior.

Dysphorian (gender identity confusion)? Dystopian (messed up future world)?

Dystopian?

Idiocracy, Tank Girl, Demolition Man (though this is really Brave New World with Stallone), Battle Royale (Japan).

Wow, talk about way off. Fixed.

I’ve made worse mistakes. I once put down 8+4=13 on a very high-stakes examination. (In homology, which should explain why I encountered a counting problem.)

Wait. You mean it's NOT?????

I might need to have a discussion with my good friends down at the IRS.

Here's a good idea. Lets take the most valuable real estate in the country and turn it into a prison.
Didn't Billy Joel tell you?

You know those lights were bright on Broadway
That was so many years ago
Before we all lived here in Florida
Before the Mafia took over Mexico

I'll cover both possibilities ...

The Crying Games ... it's like the The Hunger Games, set many, many years in the future, except you could only kill people of the same biological sex, or you are also terminated ... but there's virtually no way to tell who is/was a dude, and who is/was a chick.

Go back to my OP. The movies I mention will tell you what I mean.
Maybe it helps The Rick, but I've never seen a single movie mentioned in this thread outside of Rudy, and my context clues tell me that Bob's answer might not have been serious.

Then again, everyone makes fun of me for how few "classic" movies I've actually seen.

I’d add two more Christian Bale movies - Reign of Fire and Equillibrium (Brave New World but with gunfights and martial arts).

Is Dark City Dystopian or just good Sci-Fi? In any case its my number 1 followed closely by A Clock Work Orange and then Children of Men.

You homophobic goofball.

Homology has nothing to do with homosexuality.
Hey, thanks for clearing that up. Don't know what I'd do without you.

At least I can still rest easy knowing that hamburgers are made from ham, and frankfurters are made from guys named Frank. And his furters. I just can't explain how hot dogs ... obviously made from dog ... and frankfurters still look and taste exactly the same. Crazy, huh? Oh well, I guess that's just a mystery that'll never be solved.

Psst ... nothing homophobic about that completely harmless, silly joke I made.

I’ve heard it a million times. “Jim specializes in HOMOlogical Algebra” and people look at me, shocked. Yeah, just a silly joke.
