A buddy of mine sent this to me. The only constant I can come up with is Sweetness at $3. And avoiding Deandre Hopkins.IMG_6619.png

Brees, Smith, Rice, Megatron, Shannon Sharpe. I wish Moss was on the Fitzgerald line for $4 because I’d go with him.

All 5 $1 players and I pocket the remaining $10 because I am an NFL owner and my worth is at least double what I pay everyone.**

Cool game- no real wrong mix-n-match results in that overall group.

So, if I wanted Elway instead of those QB's is he FREE or is that defeating the purpose of the exercise?

LT at $1 should be on every squad.

Brees - 2
LT - 1
Rice - 5
Calvin - 4
Gates - 3

Brees
LT
Megatron
Moss
Gronk

Could easily swap Brees and Marino and Gronk and Gonzalez.

Marino 1
Payton 3
Rice 5
Moss 4
Sharpe 2

Marino with a HOF rb, 2 HOF receivers, and a HOF TE would be fun to watch instead of the garbage he had around him most if not all of his career. He had a much much inferior supporting cast than the rest of the qbs on this list.

$1 Marino
$4 Brown
$4 Moss
$2 Brown
$4 Gronk

Marino at $1 with that arm, Jim Brown to keep them honest, Moss and Brown to open up the field, and Gronk to play underneath.

It's unstoppable.

I clicked into this thread thinking it was about our football recruiting and NIL.

Marino - $1
Sweetness - $3
Rice - $5
Megatron - $4
Sharpe - $2

I feel like Marino at $1 is a steal.

All I know is for an offense being built here with no offensive line to block, Barry Sanders is the ONLY player on this list that gives me an offense I feel good about moving the ball!

I’m rejecting everyone’s reality and inserting my own. All I see is $15 to make a lineup….no other requirements. Last I checked, an offensive starting 11 had 6 skill position players…..

Marino - $1
LT - $1

These two are automatic. Marino at $1 is stupidly ridiculous. At RB, I’m simply taking the cheapest good one because it really doesn’t matter….and on talent alone I think LT is better than Emmitt anyway.

Moss - $4
Julio - $3

Both undervalued….would take either over Fitzgerald who is $5. Julio is a discounted Megatron….I view them pretty similarly.

Gronk - $4

Chain mover in the middle of the field and huge red zone target to complement the deeper threats in Moss and Julio.

I still have $2 left. So, I’ll also add Cris Carter as another middle of the field guy.

So yeah, I’ll take the guy who threw for 5,000 yards and 48 TD’s - in f-ing 1984 - throwing to 3 huge WR targets and a huge TE target who were great all over the field….plus being able to throw or hand-off to the greatest all-purpose back of all time. Come at me.

Marino, throws a good deep ball
Peyton, best football player ever
Moss, best WR ever (sorry Jerry)
Brown, nobody can cover AB
Gronk, best TE ever

Hard to argue with those choices.

When I first read the original post, I was thinking QB, RB, 4 WRs, and TE. Mine would have been Marino, Payton, Moss, Owens, Brown (AB), Hopkins, and Witten.
