It’s sad when a veteran NFL QB with 11 years of experience has to go back to his college’s pro timing day to audition for a job. Must mean nobody’s interested enough to work him out.

I knew Jamie Foxx was destined for greatness the first time I saw him as Wanda.
Jamie Foxx is probably the greatest impressionist I have ever seen in my lifetime.

Youtube Jamie Foxx impersonating Trump and close your eyes...... you'd be hard pressed to tell if that's really Trump or not. Also is his impression of Mike Tyson is spot on and even Matt Damon to Samuel L. Jackson....spot on. It's crazy insane.

Cam Newton like a lot of former players had their chance and for whatever reason they blew it. No NFL team is interested. Trust me I have seen this so many times but the train has run and has left Cam Newton behind.

I don't follow him all that closely but he's the former #1 pick, a former MVP, has the most career rushing TDs as a QB, 2nd in rushing yards by a QB, so you'd think he'd at least be able to land a backup job somewhere as insurance and to mentor a young starting QB or something. Either they aren't even interested in him for that role or it's been offered and he's declined b/c he still thinks he can start.

As we found out in the NFC Championship, given Josh Johnson was still in the league, LOL, yes you would think he could be a backup if he wanted to. Given he would agree to those salary levels.

FWIW, he was invited by his brother Caylin to throw to him. Caylin played at Auburn in 2021, playing in one game and logging 1 reception. He played at William and Mary last season, so I'm not sure why he was at Auburn's pro day.

I think pro days are kind of open to players from other schools...I know SC State players were at Carolina's the other day. Or at least I heard that on 107.5.

Interesting. Didn't know that. Always assumed it was something schools did just to showcase their players, network, etc.

Ex-players tend to get picked up during the season due to injuries to players on the roster. Salary caps might be a factor in Newton.
A team will bring a player in and work them out before signing. Newton needs to stay ready if he wants another shot.

I think he is #1 on Alabama's Most Hated List. Auburn and Bama fans both knew Auburn cheated to get him and then he went on to wear Bama out on the field. It was kinda funny.
