For those that remember me from years past, helped me get through the illness and death of my wife, subsequently offered dating advice and followed along as I provided updates…today I got getting married to my fiancé of almost 2 years! It’s been 9 years since this all began and want to once again thank those here that provided kind words, offered comfort and advice along the way.

Now if I could only figure out how to get my moniker back…. the site made the switch to on3 I somehow lost it.

Thanks again. Took a quick break from the celebration to reflect on the past and to post this, so now it’s back to the celebration……

Congratulations!!!

After what you experienced, I'm so happy that you've been able to recover, and find someone with whom the experience the ups and downs of life.

So give us some updates on you and your kids:

- are you still working in FL?
- do you still have the house in CF?
- you're fiancee (now wife), was in NJ when you met her. Where are the two of you living now?
your daughter, is she still in NJ?
lastly, is your son still in college, or has he completed that?

If you don't want provide so much family info in a post, let me know, and I'll shoot you a DM.

Again, congratulations on getting married.

Thanks a bunch Tom. An update on things….

I left the company in Florida a few months ago and am currently doing some consulting and working with some former colleagues on a new venture. Basically working from home full time right now.

I will be putting the CF home on the market very soon. Doing a few projects to get it ready. It’s funny how you finally get around to the little things you’ve always wanted to fix/improve when you sell your house. We will be consolidating households and living in NJ. She is an educator in NJ so NJ will be home.

My daughter lives near KSQ and I’m happy to say that she and her husband had their first child a month ago. So in addition to becoming a husband, I’ve also become a grandfather!

My son graduated, also got married this summer and is living with his bride in Malvern.

This summer has been a wild ride for sure — lots of life changes! Everyone is doing very well.

Thanks again to you and all those here who were a great sounding board during some rough times. Seems like a life ago.

Congrats CF, and isn't this the truth. Right about the time you get everything finished, you don't want to leave it.
