OT: dorndawg, 17 your history quiz!*

The game was fun at first. I shared it with some friends, one of whom got his bachelor's in History. For about 3 straight days we were addicted to this maddening quiz and constantly bitching about it. I was about ready to quit maxing out at 15, when that smart *** got 16. Competitiveness got the best of me and I kept going. Achieved this last week and it just felt right to end here.

Some of the most egregiously wrong ones I can remember:

Colt Manufacturing Company: Year 69 (before the fall of the Roman Empire)

Puma Clothing Brand: Year 0

Michelangelo's David: Year 2020

17 is also my max score, and agree it's frustrating when some of them are so far off. Still, it's a great for when you need to take a 10 minute break.

My high score is 18. Ive been screwed over a couple of times by Biblical birthdates for the New Testament. There are some that are definitely incorrect.

The 18 was pure luck. I had to guess on several and got them right. I got 16 last night and have gotten several 12s but I’ve also had some 3s and 5s too.
