You’re on a road trip on the interstate and need to stop to take a dump and get some snacks. Where you stopping?

Of the one's i pass on a regular basis. Pilot in Why-known-er and Luvs in Magee....and the one in Louisville nearest the 4 way.

The little store in the crazy curve between Louisville and Carthage saved my life recently. I had the worst shite bubble of my life hit immediately after leaving Louisville, but still a good 20 or so miles north of Carthage. That store saved my life, if not for it, I'd had to blow mud on the side of HWY 25.

Even though their gas is higher, please top off every now in then in honor of me. I have dubbed it the "poop store." 99.9% of the time I can hold a poop or pee all the way from Vegas to Flowood but not that day, my bowels were angry that day my friends.

Slight hijack. Tom Thumbs down here started serving fish and shrimp. I refuse to get it and it made me think how Mississippi I am. A corporate gas station shrimp scares me but I wouldn’t blink an eye at a gas station where the person serving me food has a 2 inch ash hanging off the end of their cigarette.

That gas station outside of Louisville is like the last reliable gas station to poop right off the highway until Flowood. They need something between.

To take a dump hands down it’s Buccees

Love’s is always at the top of the list too.

Road Ranger in Brinkley Arkansas is good place to stop.

They just opened a brand new Pilot east of Memphis heading toward Jackson, TN on 40 that is incredible.

Used to have the one in Carthage that had good tenders, but that died with the bypass. The Hitching Rail also took a beating from me and Hadad one trip.

For a Dump, Keith’s always seems to be consistent. I’m sure there are locations that suck but the 49 ones have never been terrible.

Off the northern Carthage exit there's a new gas station just down the road towards Carthage. Very clean.

Used to be a really good one just north of Carthage before they built the bypass. That killed it. But that place was always packed with State fans on game days.

RIP Bud's
Speaking of bypasses and Keith’s. Whoever owns that franchise did not put much forethought in the 98 Wilmer location. They opened up a dozen pump location there a couple of years ago. The Schillinger bypass had to reduce their drive by traffic by at least 70%.

I always hit the Stuckey's at the 49/59 junction in north Hattiesburg on my way to Gulf Shores. Snacks that you can only seem to get at a Stuckeys.

You can get pecan log rolls, fudge, jerky, fancy nuts, saltwater taffy, some artsy-fartsy **** and a Mexican blanket/hoodie.

Guess we can add this to what makes 6P great. The trials, tribulations, and worries I share or glad I don't.

At 68, I honestly can't think of the last time I took a dump anywhere but where I slept. Fortunate I suppose that I've been "regular" all of my life and have had a "morning routine" that takes care of that until the next morning.

Otherwise, Love's is my preference for coffee, snacks and pissing but will take about anything including the coffee that's been sitting on the burner for 8 hours (certainly not preferred)

All hail Renfroe and the "bend in the road" for those that travel the desolate journey of 25 if for no other reason than a mile marker for where the hell are we and how far do we still have to go.

QT. The frozen drink selection is awesome. Plus they have their own energy drink in the fountain drink machine called Rooster Booster. 60 ounces of energy drink for a couple of bucks! Helps on a road trip except all the times you have to pee on the side of the interstate.

There is a Marathon at the Lexington exit off 55 that has a glass case of fried heaven. It also has a Baskin Robbin and a beer cave.

On another note, there appears to be a gas station under construction around Carthage just north of the old Uncle Buds store many have mentioned. I can’t tell for 💯 positive but the building has every look of a convenience store being built.

Since I have retired I have picked up a part time job with food service company that puts me in convenience stores, fast food restaurants, truck stops, and grocery store delis. I have literally been in probably over a thousand in the last few years. 90% of the convenience stores I’ve been in I won’t eat or drink anything that isn’t delivered to that store in a sealed package, bottle coke and a candy bar, that’s it. The cleanest kitchens are Cracker Barrel’s and grocery store deli’s . It’s a major drop to second place.

I am surprised at the lack of decent places on the drive from Brandon to Starkville. Just the crappy Shell on 25 before you leave town, the crappy one at Coal Bluff, the crappy one right north of Carthage, the REALLY crappy one right south of Louisville, then the two there in Louisville. I guess that one south of Wendy's is probably the best. Seems like we could at least get a QuikTrip or a Raceway.

Little America, WY. The gas station that became a town. When you see it, it means you didn't freeze to death in a blizzard in I-80 between Laramie and Rock Springs. Unless of course you are heading east, at which point you may be driving into your final days.

Dump-Bucees is about the only place I’ll unload. I’ll pull off the side of the road and find a good place to Shiite. I hate public restrooms. Bit of a germaphobe I suppose. But careful with this method. One time, I got my truck stuck in the heat of the moment.

I used to think that about Walmart but then I got on a really bad timing of them always being closed for cleaning....as I'm sweating and hoping like hell there's another bathroom really close.
yep, been there done that. had an "accident" while waiting. made it to the one in front of store but not so much heading to back of store. good thing the sell under wears and pants and wet wipes. hint: stay away from Taco Bell while traveling!

Stopped at that Marathon yesterday. The smoked bologna and cheese samich is mighty fine eating.
