Anyone else notice FL's 2nd to last offensive play? Guy caught the ball short of the 1st down marker (IIRC??) with 0:02 seconds left on the clock ------ *INBOUNDS* / yet the clock stopped to give FL another play.
Luckily the throw to the endzone on the last play sailed into the upper deck. Even the announcers said "But why did the clock stop??"
Why indeed?????? Re-thinking it, I'm 99% sure he caught that ball 3 yards short of a 1st down / definitely inbounds. If it was a 1st down, then yes, I'm aware the clock stops to move the chains but I don't think it happened that way.
