Any SPSers have a first takes on iOS 16 after installing? Interested in any hacks or impressions

Nothing drastic. I’ve had the 16.0 beta installed for a few weeks. There are still a few bugs that they will fix with upcoming patches.

Probably one of the best features is the ability to merge duplicate contacts. It was always a PITA to have multiple contacts for the same person.

I installed it. All I notice is the new lock screen. The time is bigger and all my notifications stack on the bottom. I don't like it. But I also don't give a **** as long as candy crush and chrome work.

If you use Apple Books, I have run into a bug that when flipping to the next page they show up blank and you have to close and reopen to get it them to reappear. A small annoyance.

I have been running the beta for a month or so on my iPhone XR. No issues. Here is a good overview of some of the features outside of the new lock screen:

You can change the notification location back in settings. Did the same thing to me and I have spent all morning trying to get it all changed back to how it was.

Both sender & receiver have to be running iOS 16 and you must edit it within the 1st minute or 2 after sending.
