There is absolutely nothing from the rumored specs that has me excited about the upcoming release. And no, iCloud just ain't doing it for me. If the upgrade truly is only the A5 processor, more RAM, and ios5, then I have no idea what in the hell Apple has been doing for the last year and a half.

They are all about making you buy a new product every year, they are no the best out there, just the coolest...

It's looking like it's going to be a beast. The only thing that has me a little concerned is how big the phone is going to be with a 4.65 inch screen. I don't want to be carrying around a mini tablet.

...when each iphone has been released, it's been the best phone available. <div>
</div><div>Now, there might be as good or better alternatives than the upcoming iphone 5, but the iphone 3, 3GS, and 4 were better than anything else at the time.</div><div>
</div><div>Last spring I bought an unlocked Dell Streak (Android 2.2) for the 5" screen to better read SPS and ebooks, and I gave my iphone 4 to my wife. I don't know if it's the phone or the Android system, but the Dell Streak bugs me and I miss my iphone. My son is tired of his iphone 3GS so he's planning on getting the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S2. That looks pretty good, so I'll take a look at that before committing to the iphone 5. Or wait for the Nexus Prime.</div>

Supposedly it is a quantum leap from the current software, that has built in Wolfram Alpha, which would essentially allow you to ask your phone any question and get a voice response from the phone. Rumored that you will also be able to send texts by saying, for example: "Text Mullen, We still have 3 timeouts"<div>
</div><div>I have my doubts as to how effective this will be, but if it works as well as rumored, it will be awesome.</div>

How stable are those phones? What I mean by that is how often do they hang up or have to be rebooted? I have had several friends that complained about the earlier versions. Every Apple product that I have had seemed to be so much better than other product on hang ups and reboots.

People know Apple is coming out with a better product next year, yet they still pay top dollar for the current offering.

He looks like he's put on a little weight and Apple's stock price shoots up 20 points.
I would love to see a 20 point jump. I don't think Jobs shows up. I think it is important that Tim Cook take the lead. He's got to show that he is in charge and Jobs knows that. Trust me though, Jobs will be involved in some capacity until the day he dies, whether that is tomorrow or 50 years from now.

all I want to know is, when will Cellular South (I refuse to call it Cspire and will continue to make my checks out to Cellular South until they don't accept them anymore) get the damn iphone. At&t's service is so damn bad they should pay you to use their service. I would love to have an iphone again. Been holding out for CellSouth to get it but if they don't by January, I am headed to Verizon. My iPad through verizon is great and every person I have talked to claims it is the exact same coverage as Cellular South, although Verizon employees will argue that they do not use Cellular South towers.

not that the camera is a real selling feature to me but that is something I have read.
