OT: Looking for new cell phone provider been with Verizon over 20 years.

I switched from Verizon to T-Mobile last year. Saved a lot of $ with no noticeable drop off in service.
Same here. T-Mobile also offers free in-flight Wi-Fi satellite service. Not sure if any other carriers do that.
Switched to T-Mobile and got their WiFi too. Stick with cable, if my experience is an indicator. Awful reception. Went back to Verizon. Stayed with T for cell phone service.
I’m happy with Verizon. I’m such an a$$hole. 
We went to T-Mobile a few years ago when we added two lines for our kids (switching from AT&T). Our monthly bill stayed about the same, even with some limited payments for new phones.
It will definitely depend on where you live (we are in eastern MA) but the coverage has been great for us, even while traveling, and the phones are faster for data when using it as Wi-Fi hotspot. we went to Canada this summer and there were no extra charges on the four lines. Our town is notoriously bad for Verizon coverage and they wouldn’t have been any cheaper so they weren’t an option.

Have had T Mobile for nearly 2 decades. No big complaints or issues - the free in-flight WiFi is great and I don’t think my plan costs have risen at all (on their military/veteran plan). Best of all is if you have to call customer service you will be talking to a human in less than a minute - absolutely outstanding customer service. My reception can be spotty in some rural areas but getting few and far between these days.
Guys this parts easy. The hard part is dropping your adult children off your plan.

Got a good deal with T-Mobile on a trip to Costco. I already had T-Mobile cell service. We switched to T-Mobile internet and added my wife to my phone service plus a free iPhone for her. Saved about $50 per month.
I don't know if it's just my plan, but TMobile is pretty outstanding overseas (as a part of DeutscheTelekom probably shouldn't be surprising). When landing somewhere pretty much get a text saying 'Welcome to X, you get free talk and text. Data is unlimited at 3G' or something to that effect. This includes a trip to Kenya, although it initially said welcome to UAE!

Comcast is actually on the Verizon network, they are simply a reseller. As for service, I've been in/around the wireless industry since 1996. Right now best network is T-Mobile, but of course specific to where you live. We are in the heart of Comcast territory here in Denver, and my T-Mobile cell service inside my house is faster than my Comcast/xfinity internet.
I know Reading well. Born in South Boston, then Canton to Hingham... graduated from BC High though. Still have family in Hingham so I'm back quite a bit.

And Comcast is Xfinity. If you have Xfinity for cable or internet , you’re eligible for Xfinity Wireless.
Had Sprint, now T-Mobile for yrs, prices just went up like $15 a month a few months back, but the free MLB package yearly and Netflix make it worth it to me.

I have no real comparisons to make here. We have AT&T because we get a pretty decent discount because of my wife’s employer. However, my in laws switched to T-Mobile a few years back and had such a poor experience they switched back to their original provider. I have no major complaints about AT&T. I had such a bad experience with Comcast with cable/internet service in the past that I wouldn’t even consider them for cell phone service.
